Radisson Hotel Portland Airport is looking for a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. If you take pride in preparing food with precision and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Communicate and coordinate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Support catering requests and special event prep as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook preferred
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and kitchen sanitation practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Culinary certification preferred but not required
