American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and prior travel experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in California.

Acute care hospital mammography unit
-
Performs tomosynthesis (tomo) mammography studies and assists radiologists with stereotactic biopsy procedures
-
Average of 15 cases per day
-
Uses Merge PACS and Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is required
-
Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
First to float when needed
-
Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
-
Must have performed at least 200 mammograms within the past 2 years
-
Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Active BLS certification required
-
ARRT (M) - Mammography certification required
-
CRT in Mammography (California) required
-
Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted

Active certifications required at time of consideration; pending certifications will not be accepted

Cerner EMR experience required

Driver's license required for consideration

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health, within the past year; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
