We are currently seeking a caring and collaborative dental assistant to join our team. One of our valued assistants will be leaving to pursue graduate studies and is eager to help train and mentor her replacement over the coming months, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
Position
We are looking for a dependable and personable Dental Assistant to join our practice on a part-time basis, working Monday through Wednesday, with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a close-knit team that prioritizes communication, mutual respect, and work-life balance.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, team-oriented, and enjoys creating a positive experience for patients while contributing to a supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and 3D imaging.
- Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout their visits
- Provide occasional support with front office duties when necessary
Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental terminology and tooth numbering systems
- Previous dental assisting experience and/or certification preferred
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop within the practice
- Endodontic experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills
- Comfortable using digital dental software and technology
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
