Job Requirements
- Perform all job duties following 5S/LEAN Manufacturing requirements and according to all safety and health policies.
- Assemble complex electro-mechanical devices and products using fixtures, hand tools, and soldering irons.
- Assemble circuit boards.
- Utilize engineering drawings, electrical schematics, BOM’s and other documents as required.
- Troubleshoot finished products, assemblies, and systems.
- Assist assemblers with diagnosing and troubleshooting faulty equipment.
- Accurately account for materials per processes and procedures.
- Log time into the computer.
- Inspect parts for surface defects.
Required Skills:
- Be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Must have a good knowledge of basic hand tools and the ability to use them.
- Be able to use small power tools (drills, Dremel, drill press, etc.)
- Be able read and understand Digital Volt Meters.
- Be able to use and understand how to use Test Equipment.
- Be able to solder through hole and surface mount circuit boards.
- Be able to read, understand and communicate the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Be able to troubleshoot electronic devices.
Required Experience and Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 year of electronic technology or 5 years of field experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 year of electronic technology degree or 5 years of relevant work experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in Electronic assembly and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to move about the department freely.
