Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. Duties
- Assemble semiconductor components using surface mount technology (SMT) and other assembly techniques, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards.
- Perform soldering tasks on printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision, following detailed schematics and technical specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to modify or prepare components and assemblies.
- Conduct electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and testing using instruments such as ohmmeters and calipers to verify component integrity.
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and process documentation to support manufacturing operations.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks within the production line.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment and systems to support routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all manufacturing processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting procedures and suggesting enhancements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing or electronics assembly, with familiarity in surface mount technology (SMT) and soldering techniques.
- Strong understanding of PCB design, schematics, and electrical wiring principles.
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and related automation equipment.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude complemented by electrical experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
