Qualifications or Skills:
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Knowledge of motors, exhaust, plumbing, high & low voltage electricity.
- Mechanical Skills as well as Computer knowledge
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Ability to speak, read & write in English
- Ability to follow work instructions, and 5S standards.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Some Technical training in Maintenance preferred
Job Duties:
- Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the production floor to minimize downtime.
- Detects and reports defective machinery or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
- Performs preventative maintenance on machinery, building or grounds as required.
- Performs a daily walk thru to keep up with facility needs.
- Help on the production line when needed.
- Navigate and learn the computer system used.
- Perform All other Assigned Duties
