We are a leading HVAC installation & service company, and due to our continued growth we are looking for highly skilled individuals to serve as Sheetmetal Technicians. You will be part of our sheetmetal department and facilitate duct systems for every application.
In this role, you will be part of our sheetmetal department and work as a team player to fabricate and install ducts for HVAC Systems. Therefore, in addition to your technical expertise, you will also make use of your customer service talents. Shift is mostly Monday through Friday days, infrequently Saturdays.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Sheetmetal Technician, you will fabricate and install ductwork for various projects, both residential and light commercial projects. At project job sites, you will maintain a professional and friendly image and serve as an advocate for the company and our brand. Your specific duties in this role will include:
- Being a team player with regards to sheetmetal installation projects
- Be able to fabricate sheetmetal for upcoming projects using measurements & drawings provided.
- General knowledge of the installation of ductwork.
- Have knowledge of air distribution (cubic feet per minute)
- Communicating with Manager and administrative staff
- Able to read blue prints
- Able to adapt to situations that arise on ductwork installation projects.
- Utilizing all applicable safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintaining an organized van and properly accounting for assigned tools and parts inventory

As a Sheetmetal Technician, you will combine technical expertise with a personable, approachable, and helpful personality. You must also be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Specific qualifications for the role include:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; HVAC certifications a plus
- Prior experience in sheetmetal fabrication
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy
- Willingness to expand your technical and repair knowledge; obtain new licenses and commitment to professional growth
- Exceptional technical skills as well as strong communication skills
- Must be able to work independently while safely maintaining a high level of performance
