This full-time, exempt position (40 hours per week) leads the Nutrition Team and is responsible for the oversight and management of Missoula Aging Services' nutrition programs. The annual salary is $61,419 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Enjoy having your nights and weekends available to do what you like! The Nutrition Program Team hours are Monday through Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM. Use of a personal vehicle and travel within Missoula County and surrounding areas is required. Occasional travel outside of Missoula may be required for training & other purposes. Reimbursement is provided. You must maintain a valid MT driver’s license and vehicle insurance as required by MT state law.

The Nutrition Services Program Manager provides leadership, direction, and direct supervision to the Nutrition Team while overseeing the daily operations and strategic management of Missoula Aging Services' nutrition programs, including Meals on Wheels, Congregate/Community Meals, and other assigned projects. The position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating program activities to ensure organizational goals, funding requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards are met. The Program Manager monitors program and contract performance, ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, and recommends operational improvements as needed.
The preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities described above are typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Services Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, Nonprofit Management, Social Work) and four years of progressively responsible program management, leadership, or supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Volunteer experience may be considered when evaluating qualifications.
