American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a General Surgical Floor position on a 28-bed unit with telemetry capability, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA BLS certification.

Work on a 28-bed general surgical floor (10E) in a hospital setting
-
Adult general surgical patient population with telemetry capability
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6
-
Unit is supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients
-
Night shift: 18:30–07:00

13-week contract
-
Active RN license (OK state or Compact) currently in hand

BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Valid U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address required

Implements and monitors patient care plans, records and communicates patient condition, and carries out physician and nursing orders

Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care

Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
