Duties
- Operate various construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, and tanker trucks to perform earthmoving, material handling, and site preparation tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow all safety regulations and occupational safety procedures while operating heavy machinery.
- Handle materials efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, front loader trucks, and other material handling tools.
- Assist with concrete mixing operations and support site tasks involving concrete mixers.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans safely and efficiently while adhering to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes (including crane operation), and other related equipment.
- Construction site experience with knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and equipment maintenance.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving including dump trucks, water trucks, farm machinery, tanker trucks or similar vehicles.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on construction machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Strong understanding of occupational safety regulation compliance related to heavy equipment operation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and familiarity with construction materials handling processes.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.05 per hour
