Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vinyl Wrap Installer to join our dynamic automotive customization team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly applying vinyl wraps to a variety of vehicles, transforming their appearance with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help clients achieve their desired aesthetic while ensuring quality and durability in every project. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and ensuring proper adhesion for vinyl application
- Measure and cut vinyl wraps accurately to fit different vehicle models and contours
- Apply vinyl wraps smoothly using hand tools, squeegees, and heat guns to eliminate bubbles and wrinkles
- Use power tools and airless paint spraying equipment for finishing touches or custom designs when needed
- Perform auto body repairs, buffing, auto painting, and detailing to ensure seamless integration of wraps with vehicle surfaces
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Assist with vehicle maintenance, auto glass installation, and auto restoration projects as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership environments or automotive customization shops is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle prep and wrap installation
- Knowledge of auto body repair, auto painting, auto glass work, and auto estimating processes is a plus
- Welding skills and familiarity with auto restoration techniques are advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about project progress and expectations
- Mechanic experience or background in vehicle maintenance enhances your suitability for this role
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
