Role Description Musical Theater Director and Vocal Instructor part-time, on-site position based in Brooklyn, NY. We're looking for a candidate to join the Encore team of vocal faculty and who can also be a musical director for our youth theater Winter stage production.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Drama and Performing Arts, with experience in musical theater and vocal performance.
- Demonstrated ability in Teaching and Teaching Acting, including leading group classes and individual instruction.
- Experience with Curriculum Development for performing arts or vocal training, designing structured and progressive lesson plans.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support learners of varied ages and skill levels.
- Prior teaching experience in a school, studio, or community program is highly beneficial.
- Formal training in music, theater, or education (degree or equivalent professional experience) preferred.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful learning environment and adhering to school policies and procedures.
- Availability to teach on-site in Brooklyn, NY during agreed-upon class times and school events.
