Responsibilities
- Perform electrolysis hair removal treatments with precision, adhering to established safety and sanitation procedures
- Consult with clients to assess their needs, explain treatment options, and develop personalized plans for permanent hair removal
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment by following strict sanitation protocols for all tools and treatment areas
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, expectations, and maintenance to ensure optimal results
- Use salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage treatment plans effectively
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in aesthetic treatments including laser therapy, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials, botulinum toxin treatments, dermal fillers, eyelash extensions, makeup application, body waxing, nail care, barbering, and other skin rejuvenation techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
Requirements
- Electrolysis Tennessee license. (We have programs to get your license and start working for us afterwards!)
- Proven experience working in the beauty or skincare industry with a focus on electrolysis or similar aesthetic treatments
- Certification or licensure in cosmetology or esthetician practices; additional training in electrolysis preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and compliance with health regulations to ensure client safety at all times
- Familiarity with salon software platforms such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build trust with clients
- Ability to perform multiple aesthetic treatments including hair threading, facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, eyelash extensions, makeup application, body waxing, nail care, barbering techniques and laser treatments
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning about new treatments like esthetic laser therapy and advanced skin rejuvenation methods
