Muller Auto LLC is growing and looking for automotive technicians to join our team. We are hiring for multiple levels of experience, including Lube Technicians, Fleet Maintenance Technicians, and General Mobile Mechanics.

Positions Available:
Lube Technician
Ideal for an entry-level or developing technician looking to gain experience and advance their automotive career.
Responsibilities include:
- Oil and filter changes
- Tire rotations and inspections
- Brake inspections
- Fluid inspections and services
- Battery testing and replacement
- Basic vehicle inspections
- Basic maintenance repairs
- Vehicle safety checks
- Assisting senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Properly documenting work performed
Lube technicians will have opportunities to learn more advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills as they demonstrate competency.
Fleet Maintenance Technician
Fleet technicians will primarily work on commercial and fleet vehicles and perform routine maintenance and repair services.
Responsibilities may include:
- Preventative maintenance
- Oil and filter services
- Brake repairs
- Steering and suspension repairs
- Cooling system repairs
- Battery and charging system testing
- Starting system repairs
- Tire inspections and replacement
- Electrical testing
- Fleet inspections
- Diagnosing common mechanical and electrical problems
- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining quality
- Documenting repairs and communicating vehicle conditions
- Working with fleet managers and commercial customers
Fleet technicians should be comfortable working independently and understand the importance of minimizing vehicle downtime.
General Mobile Mechanic
Our mobile mechanics perform a wide range of automotive repairs and diagnostics at customer locations.
Responsibilities may include:
- Mechanical repairs
- Brake and suspension repairs
- Starting and charging system diagnosis
- Cooling system diagnosis and repair
- Electrical diagnosis and wiring repair
- Check-engine-light diagnosis
- No-start diagnosis
- Battery and charging system testing
- Scan-tool diagnostics
- Manufacturer service-information research
- Component replacement and programming when applicable
- Advanced troubleshooting
- Vehicle inspections
- Communicating diagnostic findings and repair recommendations to customers
- Completing digital work orders and documentation
- Maintaining a clean, professional mobile service vehicle
- Traveling to customer locations throughout the service area
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for technicians who think before they replace parts.
A good technician at Muller Auto understands that a diagnostic code is not automatically a failed component and that the customer's assumption about the problem may not be correct.
You should be comfortable asking:
“What does the vehicle actually prove?”
We value technicians who:
- Can follow a diagnostic process
- Understand basic electrical testing
- Know how to use a multimeter
- Can perform voltage-drop testing
- Can use a scan tool effectively
- Understand wiring diagrams
- Can diagnose mechanical problems

Experience with electrical diagnostics, drivability, no-start conditions, CAN communication, oscilloscopes, programming, or advanced scan-tool functions is a plus, but we are willing to train the right technician.

We don't want technicians who simply replace the part that a scan tool points toward.
We want technicians who can test, diagnose, repair, and verify.
Modern vehicles require more than mechanical ability. A technician needs to understand how the systems work together and be able to determine whether a component has actually failed.
Our technicians have access to professional diagnostic equipment, manufacturer service information, specialty tools, and a properly equipped mobile service vehicle.
Customer Service Matters
Because we are a mobile repair company, our technicians interact directly with customers.
You will often be the person who:
- Arrives at the customer's home or workplace
- Inspects the vehicle
- Explains what you found
- Discusses repair options
- Answers questions
- Provides an estimate or recommendation
- Performs the repair
- Explains what was done when the job is complete
Professionalism matters.
We expect our technicians to treat customers with respect, keep vehicles clean, avoid unnecessary mess, and communicate honestly when something cannot or should not be repaired.
Qualifications
Required or preferred depending on position:
- Automotive repair experience
- Basic understanding of automotive systems
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers
- Basic hand tools
- Ability to safely lift, support, and work around vehicles
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment appropriate to the position
ASE certifications are a plus but are not required.
Manufacturer-specific experience is also a plus.
