Description/Job Summary:
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Warehouse Specialist to provide support for managing the furnishings, window treatments, equipment, and appliances for Special Command Positions (SCPs), general/flag officers, installation commanders, and civilian equivalents in privatized housing. The role involves providing management, logistics, warehousing, and preventive maintenance services to maintain these government-furnished properties. Key duties include overseeing the delivery, installation, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and disposal of furnishings, ensuring government-owned equipment remains in optimal working condition.
Required Experience & Skills:
Experience in logistics and warehousing operations.
Proficiency in managing preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of equipment and furnishings.
Ability to handle maintenance of appliances such as ice makers, refrigerators, trash compactors, and instant hot water dispensers, including cleaning, filter replacement, and minor repairs.
Strong understanding of maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications.
Experience documenting and reporting maintenance issues, property loss, or abuse.
- Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
Experience working with government contracts and familiarity with contract requirements for maintenance and repairs.
Knowledge of maintaining high-level executive residences, including general/flag officer quarters.
Strong communication skills for reporting maintenance issues and collaborating with government representatives.
Experience in managing and tracking government-owned property.
