POSITION SUMMARY
Elias Clinics seeks a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic to deliver safe, evidence-informed, patient-centered care in a high-volume clinical setting. The Chiropractor is the primary clinical decision-maker for all assigned patients and provides oversight of Certified Chiropractic Clinical Assistants (CCCAs).
QUALIFICATIONS
- D.C. degree from an accredited institution Current, unrestricted Massachusetts chiropractic license (Board of Registration of Chiropractors) Current malpractice insurance at Massachusetts-required levels Proficiency in diversified and/or instrument-assisted adjusting techniques Ability to manage high patient volumes while maintaining quality and safety standards
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct chiropractic management for all assigned patients in accordance with company protocols and individualized treatment plans Perform initial exams, re-evaluations, and focused follow-up visits; assess for red flags or changes in condition each visit Screen headache patients for neurological features (dizziness, visual disturbances, nausea, aura); perform neurological evaluation before treating if symptoms are worsening or new Evaluate extremity radiation against baseline; perform strength testing and neurological assessment if symptoms have progressed; modify or withhold care as indicated Refer conditions unrelated to the MVC claim to appropriate providers; document that the patient was advised to seek further evaluation Train, supervise, and evaluate CCCAs in exercise instruction, treatment card use, and passive therapies (heat, EMS, traction); proctor competency exams and sign off on first-year hours
OPERATIONS & DOCUMENTATION
- Manage patient sequencing and coordinate with CCCAs to maintain efficient clinic flow; remain on-site during all business hours Complete all treatment notes before leaving the clinic each day; maintain timely, accurate EHR records Monitor company email daily (M–F); respond to professional communications within 24 business hours Secure the clinic at close of business, including locking premises and activating the alarm, when last to leave
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
- Maintain active Massachusetts licensure and fulfill all CE, credentialing, and malpractice requirements (company-funded) Participate in training, coaching, and mentorship to support ongoing clinical and operational improvement
COMPENSATION
Starting salary of $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentialing.
