JOB DESCRIPTION
ANDERSON COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Valid Indiana Teaching License
2. Teacher Performance Evaluation Ratings of Effective or Highly Effective for each of
the past four years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
3. Classroom teaching experience preferred.
4. Progressive discipline experience preferred.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist the Principal/Director in the overall administration of the school.
2. Ability to provide proactive interventions and supports to support students’ academic
achievement, personal and social development.
3. Maintains attendance-related discipline for students.
4. Administers discipline for students.
5. Assists in the planning, scheduling, and supervision of fire and severe weather drills.
6. Assists in developing and conducting student orientation programs.
7. Assists in the supervision and evaluation of extra-curricular activities.
8. Serves with parent, faculty, student, and administrative groups as requested in advancing
educational and related activities.
9. Serves as liaison with probation/parole officers.
10. Serves as liaison with the welfare and social security administration.
11. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the
Principal/Director may assign.
