Bozeman Site Services is one of the Gallatin Valley’s longest-standing and trusted property maintenance companies, and we’re continuing to grow with a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.
We’re hiring an Irrigation Technician to join our team. This is a skilled, hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, repairs, system operation, and irrigation maintenance. For employees who want to keep working after irrigation season, BSS also operates winter snow services, with opportunities to transition into winter work and continue employment year-round.
This is a skilled, hands-on role. You’ll be working with irrigation systems, troubleshooting issues, making repairs, and ensuring properties are running properly and efficiently.
If you like problem-solving, working independently, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this is a strong fit.
- You’ll work outdoors and stay active throughout the day
- You’ll diagnose problems and fix them the right way
- You’ll be trusted to manage your work and make decisions in the field
- You’ll work with systems, not just labor tasks
- You’ll see the results of your work immediately
- Perform irrigation startups and system checks
- Adjust controllers and ensure proper system operation
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation issues (leaks, coverage, zones)
- Assist with system audits and improvements
- Complete repairs cleanly and efficiently
- Keep job sites clean and professional
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
- Track and log work accurately in Aspire
- You take pride in doing things right the first time
- You think through problems instead of guessing
- You can work independently without constant direction
- You follow through and don’t leave issues unresolved
- You show up ready to work and take ownership
Strong performers have opportunities to expand into other areas of BSS, including additional field operations and leadership roles.
We also operate in the winter with snow services, creating opportunities for continued work and year-round employment.
