Case Coordinator – Social Security Disability Law Firm
Small, Client-Focused Law Firm | Full-Time
We are a small, growing law firm seeking a Case Coordinator to join our team and play an important role in helping clients navigate the Social Security Disability (SSD/SSDI) claims process.
The Case Coordinator will work closely with our case managers and attorneys to ensure new clients are properly onboarded, case files are organized and complete, deadlines are monitored, and cases continue moving forward efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys helping people.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding new Social Security Disability clients
- Gather and organize client information and supporting documentation
- Ensure required forms, authorizations, and case documents are completed accurately and timely
- Review files for missing information and follow up with clients as needed
- Enter and maintain client and case information in the firm's case management system
- Schedule client appointments, consultations, and follow-up calls
- Monitor important deadlines, appointments, and case milestones
- Track case progress and bring outstanding issues or deadlines to the attention of case managers
- Assist case managers with the preparation and organization of SSD/SSDI claims
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients by phone, email, and other means
- Request and follow up on medical records and other necessary documentation as directed
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date electronic and paper files
- Assist with general administrative and case-management tasks as needed
- Protect confidential client information and maintain professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with clients who may be experiencing significant challenges
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and case-management systems
- Accurate and efficient data-entry skills
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Prior legal office, disability claims, insurance, medical office, or case-management experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
