Commercial Pest Control Technician
Job Summary
Covenant Pest Control is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Commercial Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide pest management services to commercial clients throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying pest activity, implementing treatment programs, maintaining detailed service records, and building strong relationships with customers.
The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service while adhering to all industry regulations and safety standards. This position requires daily travel in a company-provided vehicle to service commercial accounts throughout the region.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of licensed driving experience.
- Ability to pass required state licensing and certification examinations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle pest control equipment and materials.
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and industry education.
Work Location
- Daily travel in a company-provided vehicle throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland.
- Monday through Friday schedule with occasional overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of commercial properties to identify pest activity, entry points, and conducive conditions.
- Develop and implement effective pest management solutions based on inspection findings.
- Apply pest control products safely and in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Service a variety of commercial accounts including office buildings, retail locations, warehouses, healthcare facilities, restaurants, and other business environments.
- Maintain accurate service records, treatment reports, and customer documentation.
- Educate customers on pest prevention strategies and sanitation recommendations.
- Operate, maintain, and inspect equipment to ensure safe and effective performance.
- Respond to customer concerns and provide professional, timely service.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to remain current with pest management techniques, products, and industry best practices.
