Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) specializing in ABA therapy to join our Bronx team as an Assistant/Float position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Duties
- Providing ABA therapy to a student with autism
- Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Completing a morning routine with a student at home and escorting the same student to our Center in College Point, Queens, via private transportation. You would then provide support as needed to various therapists/students while at the Center. At the end of the morning student's day, you would travel back to the student's home for drop off.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Experience working directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients’ families and team members
- Availability for this schedule:
Bronx to College Point, Queens/College Point, Queens to Bronx: Monday to Friday Pick up 8/8.30am and Drop Off is 3pm.
What We Offer:
We offer BCBA and NYS LBA supervision for candidates interested in pursuing their BCBA certification and/or NYS Behavior Analyst License.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
