Command Security Inc is seeking a reliable, professional, and highly experienced Commissioned Security Officer – Level III to provide security at a client facility in Dallas, TX.
This position requires a strong security presence, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and members of the public. The ideal candidate is dependable, alert, and capable of handling security concerns while maintaining a safe and professional environment.

- Monday to Friday 7:30am-4pm
Pay
$$21.00-22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Position Overview
The Armed Security Officer will maintain a highly visible security presence at the assigned facility and help protect personnel, visitors, property, and assets.
The officer will monitor the facility, control access points, respond to incidents, conduct security checks, communicate with management and emergency personnel when necessary, and complete detailed security documentation.
Job Duties
- Maintain a highly visible armed security presence throughout the assigned facility.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points.
- Control and monitor access to the facility in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct routine security checks and patrols of assigned areas.
- Monitor CCTV and other security systems as assigned.
- Respond promptly to radio/walkie-talkie communications.
- Identify and respond appropriately to suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents.
- Utilize professional conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Respond to emergencies in accordance with company policies and post orders.
- Contact law enforcement, fire department, EMS, or other emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with client management, employees, visitors, and emergency personnel.
- Maintain assigned firearm and equipment in accordance with company policies and applicable Texas laws and regulations.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the security operation.
Requirements
- Valid Texas DPS Commissioned Security Officer – Level III License REQUIRED.
- Must be currently authorized to perform armed security work in Texas.
- Must maintain all required Texas DPS licenses, registrations, and qualifications in good standing.
- Minimum 8 years of security experience preferred.
- Previous armed security, law enforcement, military, corporate security, or high-visibility security experience preferred.
- Excellent observation and situational-awareness skills.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong conflict-resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Must be comfortable using radios, CCTV, access-control systems, and other security technology.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must follow all company policies, client requirements, and post orders.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and report to work in complete uniform.
- Reliable transportation to the Dallas, TX location.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
IMPORTANT
This is an armed security position at a professional client facility. The officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing a professional and courteous presence.
