Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team! As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the general manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. Your responsibilities will include daily management of tasks and employees to help ensure the restaurant is operating smoothly. The ideal candidate is a positive, motivating leader with a passion for people and providing quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising a team of 4-8 employees
- Cash handling and food preparation
- Lead on catering orders and being the point of contact person
- Ensure all systems and procedures are followed, including food safety
- Count and record inventory every week
- Assist with hiring and training staff
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues that arise in a positive manner
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, safe, and well-maintained
Qualifications:
- Previous management experience is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills
- Bilingual a plus but not required
