Middle and High School Media Arts Teacher / District Communications Support
Paris City Schools is seeking a dynamic and creative Media Arts Teacher to serve students in grades 6 through 12 while also supporting district communications and public relations.
Primary teaching responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging instruction in media arts, digital media production, photography, video production, graphic design, and related technology skills. The successful candidate will inspire student creativity while integrating industry relevant tools and real world learning experiences.
In addition to teaching duties, this position includes an extended days contract and stipend to assist with district public relations. Responsibilities include capturing photos and videos of school events, creating promotional content, supporting district social media platforms, assisting with graphic design and marketing materials, and helping tell the story of Paris City Schools through strategic communications.
The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional skills, creativity, excellent communication abilities, and experience with digital media production, photography, videography, graphic design, and social media content creation.
