Job Summary:
Preferred Care MI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in Bay City, Michigan. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants to provide high-quality patient care
Develop and implement unit-based policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the individual needs of our patients
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentoring, and identify opportunities for professional development to enhance team performance
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices
Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient flow and staffing data, to inform unit operations and patient care decisions
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring nursing staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
