Responsibilities
- Vigilantly monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules at all times
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed
- Conduct bathroom restocking and towel pick ups
- Deliver engaging swim lessons tailored to various skill levels, fostering confidence and proficiency in swimmers
- Provide excellent guest services by checking in members, answering questions, offering guidance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
- Support overall facility operations by ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently
Requirements
- Proven certification in CPR and First Aid from a recognized organization
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently
- Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Prior experience in swim instruction or teaching swimming is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for teaching is essential
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
