Job Summary
- Analyze production non-conformances and perform engineering root cause investigations.
- Develop engineering dispositions for manufacturing discrepancies and deviations.
- Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities involving aircraft structures and systems.
- Research and resolve technical, operational, manufacturing, and quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Apply engineering principles to evaluate production issues while maintaining design intent, structural integrity, and safety requirements.
- Identify, document, analyze, and communicate engineering deviations that may impact product quality or safety.
- Develop and implement product and process improvements to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in engineering design reviews.
- Represent engineering from initial aircraft build through production and post-production support.
- Serve as the engineering representative on the production floor, working closely with manufacturing personnel to resolve real-time production issues.
- Coordinate engineering activities with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and production teams.
- Ensure supplier and manufacturing partner compliance with engineering standards.
- Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, customer correspondence, and engineering dispositions supporting continued safe aircraft operation.
- Support disabled aircraft repair teams, accident investigations, and post-production engineering activities.
- Analyze aircraft damage, structural repairs, and engineering modifications.
- Determine appropriate jacking, shoring, and repair methods to prevent collateral damage.
- Design interim structural repairs and perform static strength analyses.
- Develop and implement non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures, tools, and engineering standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives supporting aircraft manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET (or equivalent) accredited institution.
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
o Liaison Engineering
o Aircraft Structures Engineering
o Systems Engineering
o Production Engineering
o Design Engineering
- Strong understanding of aircraft manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
- Experience performing engineering root cause analysis and developing corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work directly on the factory floor in a manufacturing environment.
Experience Requirements
Level 4
- Minimum 9+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Level 5
- Minimum 14+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Current or prior Material Review Board (MRB) Certification within the last 2 years preferred.
Level 6
- Minimum 20+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Pay: $80.00 - $123.00 per hour
