Accurate Machine Products is a privately owned, small, but fast growing job shop in Janesville. AMP specializes in machining and assembly of industrial equipment and machinery in a technical and professional environment. We are seeking a flexible Production and Inventory Assistant whose duties and responsibilities can vary based on the talents of the hired individual. Responsibilities may include:
- Individual and bulk packaging of customer parts based on specific requirements.
- Preparing shipments for UPS Ground or Freight shipping.
- Light assembly of customers parts according to work instructions.
- Clean, deburr and perform any necessary finishing operations.
- Assist in regular physical inventory management.
- Manage paperwork flow for shipping and receiving.
- Check in incoming materials.
- Move materials by hand, with pallet jack or with forklift.
- Operate CNC machines and perform quality checks as needed.
- Assist with other duties or responsibilities as needed.

This position is best suited for a self-starter with a passion for efficiency and an interest in being involved in many facets of a small business. We love to see candidates with:
- Experience arranging, scheduling and coordinating shipping and receiving activities.
- Parts handling and packaging with an eye for quality and detail.
- Experience working within an ERP system as well as freight and ground shipping carrier sites.
- Understanding of inventory management.
- Willingness to be flexible and assist in all production activities as needed.
- Proven dedication through longevity with former employers.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
