Job Summary
We are seeking an evangelical Christian, passionate Classroom Teacher to inspire and educate upper elementary school students. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and tailored to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavior management strategies, and differentiated instruction.
- Assess student performance regularly through formative and summative assessments, including standardized testing, and analyze data to inform instructional modifications.
- Communicate consistently with parents regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming activities to foster strong home-school partnerships.
- Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and school-wide initiatives to promote a cohesive learning environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, childhood development, literacy education, math instruction, and educational technology integration.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student performance data, attendance, and behavioral incidents in accordance with school policies.
Qualifications
- A devoted Christian
- Strong knowledge of curriculum implementation, lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and instructional modifications.
- Proficiency in using LMS platforms and integrating learning technology into daily lessons.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and faculty collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and childcare practices.
- Background in special education or Montessori methods is desirable but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications or training in early childhood education or special education preferred.
