Summary:
Beertenders play a critical role in creating an exceptional Paddlefish Brewing experience. This role combines outstanding customer service, craft beer knowledge, and operational efficiency to create a welcoming, team-oriented taproom environment.
Qualifications:
- Appreciation for craft beer and willingness to learn
- Friendly, confident communicator who enjoys engaging with guests
- Ability to describe beer styles and flavors
- Must be 21+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40–50 lbs
- Experience in bar, restaurant, or retail environments preferred
Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Greet guests and provide exceptional service
- Serve beer and non-alcoholic beverages
- Educate customers about beer styles, flavors, and brewing processes
- Promote flights, merchandise, events, and loyalty programs
- Process transactions using POS system
- Check identification in accordance with state regulations
Taproom Operations
- Complete opening and closing procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized taproom
- Change kegs and restock supplies as needed
- Assist with inventory awareness and communicate low stock
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
Reporting
Reports directly to the Taproom Manager and works collaboratively with the Paddlefish team.
Compensation
$11.13/hour + tips
