SUMMARY
Warehouse parts picker is responsible for accurately selecting, packing and preparing parts for shipment or internal distribution. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting productivity standards, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick parts and materials from inventory locations using pick lists or RF scanners

Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition to ensure order accuracy

Package, label and stage picked items for shipment or delivery

Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts and hand trucks

Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies or damaged items

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

Follow all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Assist with receiving, stocking or cycle counts as needed

Meet productivity and accuracy standards consistently

Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible

All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

High school diploma/ GED

Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred

Basic math and reading skills

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members

Dependable, punctual and able to work well in a team environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach for extended periods of time

Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)
