Duties
- Perform Russian Manicure treatments, including cuticle work, shaping, buffing, and high-gloss finishing with precision and care
- Educate clients on nail health, maintenance, and aftercare to promote long-lasting results
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace adhering strictly to sanitation standards and protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering professional advice, and ensuring a positive experience
- Upsell additional services such as nail enhancements, color treatments, or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Keep detailed records of treatments performed and client preferences for personalized service
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques, and product innovations to continually enhance your skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in performing Russian Manicure techniques with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting the perfect shades and finishes
- Solid understanding of sanitation practices and sterilization procedures in a salon environment
- Certification or formal training in cosmetology or nail care is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired outcomes
- Familiarity with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or dermabrasion is a plus
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Strong organizational skills with retail math knowledge for accurate product sales and inventory management
