Position Summary
The Production Manager is a leadership role responsible for the daily execution of all account maintenance and project fulfillment. This individual will be responsible for training and supervising field staff, maintaining rigorous quality assurance, servicing equipment, performing hands-on field work, and drafting specialty estimates for projects. The Production Manager serves as the primary link between field operations and the senior management team, ensuring every job is completed with precision, safety, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
1. Staff Training & Supervision
- Train and supervise field personnel to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Evaluate field staff (factoring variables like attendance, attitude, accuracy, and efficiency) and provide feedback to staff in a way that fosters professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to conduct annual performance reviews.
2. Quality Assurance & Control
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure work is done according to plan and meets company standards.
- Address on-site problems immediately and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed and that the field is run safely at all times.
3. Equipment Management & Servicing
- Oversee the maintenance and servicing of all company equipment to ensure longevity and operational readiness.
- Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and proper manner by field staff.
- Evaluate equipment utilization and make recommendations for future purchases to the management team.
4. Field Work & Operations
- Act as the company's "eyes and ears" on project sites, performing field work alongside crews when necessary to ensure successful project fulfillment.
- Perform specialized applications, such as post-emergent herbicides, on select projects as required.
- Manage the company shop space and coordinate logistics to ensure inventory needs are met and the community space stays clean and organized.
5. Estimating & Strategic Planning
- Conduct property visits for specialty projects and drive the creation of estimates, regularly assessing service needs and defining the scope of projects and resources required for successful project completion.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a leader in the Lawn & Landscape Industry (leading and directing crews ranging in size from 5-15).
- Education: Associate’s degree (preferably in the Green Industry) and Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) certification. Professional background and academic credentials may be assessed collectively. We welcome applications from those possessing significant industry experience as a substitute for formal degrees.
- Communication: Bilingual (preferred) in Spanish and English with proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Technical: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and CRM software; capable of learning GPS tracking and scheduling hardware.
- Safety: Certified in CPR and First Aid with a clean criminal record and valid driver's license.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,500.00 per year
