- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout your shift.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards in production and prevent cross-contamination.
- Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on recipes and ingredient needs based on daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong culinary skills.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent knife skills with slicing techniques that ensure efficiency and precision.
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and catering is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required.
