Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications
- Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and plating for service periods
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure food safety standards are met
- Handle dishwashing duties efficiently to keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy hours
- Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to safety regulations at all times
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Assist with catering events or special functions by preparing ingredients or supporting serving staff as required
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service environment such as restaurants, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs and food handling protocols
