Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ communication growth as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population in a school-based setting, providing both in-person and teletherapy services. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to deliver high-quality evaluations and interventions, enhancing students’ academic and social success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision
- Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience working in schools, with pediatric clients, or in healthcare settings is beneficial
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology tools preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions, both on-site and via teletherapy, tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing team communication
