Join our dynamic team as a Delivery and Setup Crew Member in Winston-Salem! As a key player in our logistics operations, you'll be responsible for safely transporting, unloading, and setting up products at customer locations using a truck you’ll operate. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or commercial truck to deliver products to various customer sites within Winston-Salem and surrounding areas
- Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Assist with the setup and installation of delivered products at customer locations, ensuring proper placement and functionality
- Follow all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines during route driving to ensure safety and compliance
- Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch or team members
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during delivery and setup
Skills
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations preferred
- Proven commercial driving experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling standards
- Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices on public roads
- Strong organizational skills for route planning and delivery scheduling
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members via mobile devices
- Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment while maintaining attention to safety standards
