Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all hotel systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, and appliances using schematics and technical manuals
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to diagnose system faults and ensure optimal performance
- Conduct painting tasks as needed to maintain the property's appearance and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns related to maintenance issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, welding, and painting
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and guest interactions
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately for effective repairs
- Prior experience working with manufacturing or industrial equipment is a plus but not required
