Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and providing an exceptional experience to our guests. Shifts needed will be at least Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food offerings and drink specials, to provide recommendations to guests.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including equipment and glassware, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
- Experience with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is advantageous.
