Key Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana DOE School Psychology certification required
- Experience in psychoeducational assessment, IDEA compliance, and eligibility criteria
- Adept at interpreting and clearly presenting assessment data and comprehensive evaluation reports
- Strong collaboration skills with school teams, diagnosticians, SLPs, social workers, and administrators
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple timelines and caseloads
- District background check and fingerprinting required
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational assessments for K-12 students, submit clear and timely written reports
- Participate as a core member of multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and well-being
- Work directly with students and families, providing information, referrals, and intervention strategies
- Maintain thorough case records and documentation
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families on learning and behavioral strategies
- Interpret assessment processes and outcomes to all stakeholders
- Participate in in-service training sessions
- Ensure all assessments and reporting meet district and legal requirements
