JOB The purpose of this class is to provide advance level support in providing academic support, guidance, and feedback to students.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES 1. Master’s degree in education and minimum four years of experience teaching or tutoring and use of student information systems.
2. Experience working with adult learners in providing instruction, advising, academic support services, academic skills assessment and/or study skills instruction.
3. Demonstrated leadership ability, as evidenced by assignments of increased responsibility including but not limited to, participation in planning and orchestration of initiatives related to student retention and completion, as well as training and outreach activities involving other professional advisors, faculty and staff.
