Position Overview:
APPLICANT NEEDS TO BE LOCATED WITHIN 10 MILES OF FREDERICK, MD. As an On-Call Solar Technician, you will be responsible for responding to service calls, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on solar power systems. This position requires a proactive and technically proficient individual who can diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and identify technical problems with solar panels, inverters, and other system components.
Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on solar power systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Documentation: Accurately document service activities, including troubleshooting steps, repairs made, and replacement parts used.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on solar installations and repairs, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing solar power systems, including solar panels, inverters, and associated components.
Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems and wiring related to solar installations.
Reliability: Ability to respond to on-call requests and work flexible hours as needed.
