About the Position
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Lead CNA / Lead Caregiver/Assistant Manager to join our assisted living team. This role is ideal for someone who is a strong team player, values positive company culture, and is passionate about providing exceptional resident care while supporting daily operations and staff leadership within the home.
The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, confident in delegation and communication, and able to help maintain a supportive and professional environment for both residents and staff.
Requirements
- Current Alaska CNA certification (required)
- Medication administration experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Experience delegating tasks and supporting team accountability
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Experience with documentation, charting, and resident monitoring
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Understanding of and commitment to positive workplace culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior leadership, lead staff, or management experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare settings preferred
- Experience mentoring or training staff
- Familiarity with resident-centered care practices
Scheduling & Flexibility
This position has a regular set schedule; however, flexibility is required based on resident and staffing needs. Shift times and coverage needs may vary from pay period to pay period as operational needs arise. Flexibility in schedule is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist with resident care and activities of daily living
- Support medication administration and monitoring
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Assist with coordinating daily workflow and staff support
- Help maintain compliance with policies and care standards
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and positive communication
- Support a healthy and respectful home environment
- Support management in policy adherence and workflow improvement

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
