American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float pool Med/Surg Telemetry Night Shift position in Tucson, AZ, requiring active AZ licensure and Cerner EMR experience.

Float pool position requiring willingness to float between multiple facilities in the Tucson area
-
Med/Surg Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 6:1
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
-
6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
-
13-week contract

EMR: Cerner experience required
-
Active AZ RN license or compact license with AZ as primary state required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required

Cerner EMR experience required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Responsible for shift accountability including nursing care delivery, critical thinking, clinical judgment, and supervision of assigned personnel using the Nursing Process

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
