Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and flair, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain impeccable food handling and safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Support food preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating dishes efficiently during busy service hours
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, including catering orders and special event preparations
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies throughout each shift
- Demonstrate fine dining experience by executing sophisticated plating techniques and attention to detail in every dish served
Requirements
- Proven culinary experience with a strong background in working in a restaurant.
- Demonstrated proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen hygiene protocols
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards during peak hours
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
