Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Controls Scheduler to join our engineering team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure timely project delivery. Your expertise in project scheduling software and construction estimating will drive project efficiency and coordination across teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects, utilizing your skills in project management, contract oversight, and construction site experience to keep projects on track from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, and other construction management software tools, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather scheduling inputs and update project timelines regularly
- Monitor progress against schedules, identify potential delays or conflicts, and implement corrective actions proactively
- Maintain detailed records of schedule changes, contract milestones, and project documentation for transparency and audit purposes
- Facilitate communication between teams regarding schedule updates, risks, and changes to ensure everyone remains aligned on project timelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience with project scheduling in the construction industry, including 3+ years of Primavera P6 and Primavera software suite
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, contracts, and site operations
- Proficiency in construction site experience with an understanding of field activities and logistics
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Demonstrated capability in project coordination, communication, and problem-solving within complex projects
Must have the ability to travel to project sites 1-2x per month. All travel is expensed
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
