What we need
Exol is seeking a Senior Transportation Analyst – Billing, Claims & Compliance who will execute and continuously improve the processes that protect revenue, support customer satisfaction, and ensure operational discipline across our expanding network.
This role combines hands-on execution of daily billing and claims activities with process ownership. As Exol grows, you will play a key role in establishing the scalable workflows, controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) required to support future business expansion. The ideal candidate is a process-driven individual who thrives on bringing structure to rapidly growing environments. Beyond academic credentials, you have a demonstrated real-world ability to build workflows, minimize financial risk, and partner effectively with stakeholders to deliver reliable logistics results.

What you’ll do
Billing Management: Validate, prepare, and issue accurate transportation invoices. Investigate discrepancies, partner with Operations and Finance on reconciliations, and maintain strict controls to prevent revenue leakage.
Claims Management: Administer end-to-end transportation claims for cargo loss, damage, or shortage. Coordinate with carriers, customers, and insurance partners to drive timely resolution, analyze root causes, and track financial recoveries.
Compliance & Operational Controls: Monitor network adherence to contractual commitments, internal policies, and customer requirements. Support customer audits, maintain complete documentation, and mitigate operational risks.
Process Governance & Automation: Identify workflow gaps and develop sustainable, standardized SOPs. Partner across teams to support TMS/billing system enhancements and automation opportunities.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for Exol's customers and carriers regarding billing and claims. Support new customer onboarding and implementation requirements.
Performance Reporting: Monitor and report KPIs via dashboards to provide executive visibility into financial leakage, claims trends, and operational performance.
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, or Accounting
Minimum 5 years in transportation billing, claims, logistics compliance, finance operations, or related functions.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a proven track record of resolving complex invoicing discrepancies or cargo claims.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the agility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within a 3PL environment or supporting Retailer Consolidation programs (multi-stop distribution networks) preferred.
Experience with TMS, ERP, or specialized billing/claims platforms. Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
Our Environment
Up to 25% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
