How you’ll contribute
A Scheduler who excels in this role:
-
Schedules patients for ancillary, surgical, and medical testing, procedures, and admissions while ensuring staff and resources are available.

Notifies patients or physician office staff of out-of-network carriers or issues that may impact benefits.

Communicates special instructions, testing requirements, and other pertinent information to patients or physician offices.

Reviews scheduling reports for upcoming services to ensure readiness of registration staff, availability of time slots, and appropriate staffing.

Obtains physician orders and insurance authorization/pre-certification; enters outpatient procedures into the Order Entry System.

Ensures consistency between scheduling and admissions modules for patients being admitted.

Schedule: Full Time: Monday–Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
