Cerna HomeCare is a Florida registered Homemaker & Companion Services Agency dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality in-home care that allows our clients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregivers/Homemaker Companions to join our growing team. We have full-time, part-time, day, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend opportunities available throughout our Florida service area.

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and professional in-home care.
- Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Observe and report client condition changes.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Maintain documentation.
- Maintain a safe home environment.
Qualifications:
Required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass Florida Level 2 Background Screening
- Professional, dependable attitude
Preferred
- HHA or CNA certification
- Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, or hospice experience
- Experience with gait belts and Hoyer lifts
- Weekend availability
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole)
