Position Summary
The Retail Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing retail parts sales via phone, email and in person (counter), assisting customers with parts identification and ordering, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting service and repair operations for commercial service trucks when applicable. This role utilizes TREQSO software to process orders, manage inventory, track parts availability, and ensure efficient customer service. The ideal candidate possesses strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer and team support.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Assist retail and commercial customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for service trucks and related equipment.
- Provide quotes, pricing, and product recommendations based on customer needs.
- Process parts sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, warranty claims, and order status requests professionally.
Parts Inventory Management
- Utilize TREQSO software to assist with managing inventory levels, track stock movement, and process transactions.
- May assist with verification of incoming parts shipments for accuracy and quality.
- May assist with periodic inventory counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits.
Order Processing
- Enter customer orders into TREQSO and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding special orders and backordered items.
- Track order status and communicate updates to customers and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sales orders, purchase orders, and inventory transactions.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate customer, vendor, and inventory records.
- Prepare reports related to sales and purchasing activities.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement activities regarding products, systems, and industry developments.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience in heavy equipment, crane and hydraulic parts sale or related parts experience.
- Experience using inventory management or ERP software; TREQSO experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse/parts room environment.
Preferred
- Experience with commercial truck, service truck, heavy-duty equipment, or fleet maintenance parts.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and truck body components.
- Previous experience in a dealership, fleet maintenance, or truck equipment environment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
